Kinneth Perry Lester April 13, 1949 - May 06, 2023 Kinneth Perry Lester passed away, May 6, 2023, in Tyler, Texas. Kin was born April 13, 1949, in Gilmer, Texas to K. P. Lester and Juanita (Hoffman) Lester. Kin graduated from Winnsboro High School in 1967.

After High School, College, then off to the Army. Kin served from Feb 13, 1969, to Dec 11,1970, as a paratrooper, path finder, interrogator, and was in the 173rd Air Born Brigade. While serving in Vietnam, he received 2 Air Medals and a Bronze Star Metal. Kin came home, went back to college, worked at the Coal Mine, raised chickens for Pilgrim Pride, and was a cowboy. He loved to ride horses, trail rides and camp out.

Kin is preceded in death by his father, K.P. Lester, Grandparents, George and Agrus Lester, Norris and Ora Hoffman, Nicole Barela, and grandson Kross Lester. Kin is survived by, his mother, Juanita Hoffman Lester, of Scroggins, sons, Kinney Lester, and wife Erin, of Franklin, Texas, and Kevin Lester of Scroggins, Texas, sisters, Bonnie Needs and husband Jim Needs of Ohio, Neta Kemp and husband Jack Kemp of Scroggins, and Sara Lester of Colleyville, grandchildren, Kaden Lester of Mt. Vernon, Haley and Matthew Lester of Franklin, Texas. Kin was a volunteer fireman for South Franklin Fire Dept, road with the Sheriff Posse and helped with the Handicap Rodeos.
