Chuck passed away due to aggressive cancer on June 4, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Jan; daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and John Bozalis; three grandchildren, Rachel and Thomas Bozalis, and Madison Montalvo; and a sister, Marty Jacob. He was predeceased by his son, Charlie Switzer.

Born December 21,1939, Chuck grew up in Galion, Ohio.

He attended Western Reserve Academy Prep School in Hudson, Ohio and went on to attend Cornell University where he earned his MBA in Business and a degree in Hospital Administration from Sloan Management.

Upon retiring as Regional Manager with AIG, he moved here to Lake Cypress Springs where he owned property for over 50 years.

He was an avid fisherman and a boat enthusiast. He was also a rabid sports fan and big supporter of the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Chuck loved animals. Prior to his passing, he was helping his wife establish an animal shelter for Franklin County.
