Outdoor sportsmen, hunters, and gun enthusiasts will converge on the Winnsboro City Civic Center for the annual Spring Gun Show Weekend April 29 and 30.

The event is sponsored by the Carl E. Azebell American Legion Post 340 at the Center located at the City Park, 915 Wheeler Drive. Doors open at 9 a.m. both days with closing time at 5 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday.

Admission into the event is $7 for adults and $5 for veterans with appropriate identification. Children under age 12, who are accompanied by an adult are free.

Vendors will sell guns, ammo, knives, powder, reloading supplies and much more. There will be ample on site parking and concessions run by the American Legion Auxiliary.

Every year the post produces a gun show in the spring and the fall. Proceeds from these shows go to supporting organizations in the community, local veterans in need, scholarships, and tuition for attendees to the American Legion Boys’ State program.
