Rivercrest High School’s softball Lady Rebels scored three early runs on hits by Addison Martin (So) with an RBI and Avery Martin (Sr) early in Tuesday’s matchup as Victoria Torres (So) pitched five scoreless innings until Detroit’s Braylin Craig (Sr) drove a one-run homer over the center field fence.

Past the third inning, Detroit’s Hannah Johnson ended the Lady Rebel scoring, but Torres halted the Lady Eagle scoring for the duration.

Detroit falls to seven and four overall, one and three in district and will face Alba-Golden on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.

Rivercrest will host Fruitvale on Thursday at 4:30 p.m,

The Lady Rebels and Lady Eagles will meet again in Rivercrest on April 21.
