Clarksville ISD School Resource Officers Chief Roosevelt Cherry and Officer Quinton Wallace were recognized by school board trustees as part of National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day. The National Association of School Resource Officers declared Feb.

The monthly meeting of the Red River County Genealogical Society is set for Monday night, March 11, at 7 p.m at the Chamber of Commerce meeting room in Clarksville. Bill Covington of Waxahachie is to present the program “Revolutionary War Veterans Buried in Texas”, and will feature the few that are buried in Red River County.

Caddo Trace Beekeepers Association will have its regular monthly meeting Monday, March 11 in the AgriLife Building at 1708 Industrial Road in Mount Pleasant. Jesse Wright will have his question/answer session starting at 6:30 pm, and the meeting will start at 7:00 pm.
