I don’t know about you, but I feel like this summer is moving by very quickly. We are only a few weeks away from starting a brand-new school year and it seems like we just had the graduation for the class of 2023.

Clarksville High School graduate Quincy English returned home to serve as the Clarksville Middle/High School principal after being named the choice to take over the reigns for the 2023-24 school year, when the Clarksville Independent School District, Board of Trustees met in June. English replaces Cynthia Jackson after her one year of service as principal. While principal, Jackson was also serving the school district that she had attended as a student.

Water is flowing in the City of Clarksville again after a well system malfunction shut pumps down early in the morning Tuesday, July 4. City officials were quick to suspect storm damage to be the cause of the outage, but a computer system malfunction was the determined cause.
