The Sulphur River Basin Authority officers were at the last commissioners court meeting and indicated their concerns over commercial solar developments’ effects on watershed, wildlife and water quality. SRBA President Chris Spencer noted that their board had recently passed a resolution in an emergency session requesting further investigation by the appropriate federal, state, and local officials.
